Honey Smoked Salmon® Burgers

Skip the saturated fat of ground beef and mix it up with a heart healthy patty that might just become your new go-to. With flavorful ingredients like horseradish, fresh tarragon, bread crumbs and lemon juice all blended up with Honey Smoked Salmon, what’s not to love?


  • 1 lb Original Honey Smoked Salmon fillet, skinned and cut into 1/8 in pieces
  • 4 green onions, sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh tarragon, chopped
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard 
  • 1 tsp prepared horseradish 
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 sourdough hamburger buns
  • 4 large tomato slices
  • 4 lettuce leaves


Step 1

Place Honey Smoked Salmon in a bowl along with the next 8 ingredients. Mix well and refrigerate for 1 hour. Mix bread crumbs into Honey Smoked Salmon mixture. Form into 3/4 inch patties.

Step 2

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add Honey Smoked Salmon mixture and cook until firm to the touch and browned on the outside. About 4 minutes on each side.

Step 3

Toast buns, place patties in buns and top with tomato and lettuce. Serve with tarragon mayonnaise or tartar sauce.
